Who are we ?
A passionate team of chemistry and microfluidics
Emulseo develops and supplies surfactant formulations for droplet-based microfluidics.
Emulseo is a French company based in Pessac, a suburb of Bordeaux, in the South-West of France. Created in 2018, Emulseo comes from the Centre de Recherche Paul Pascal (CRPP) where the founding team works on surfactant formulations for droplet-based microfluidic technology.
Our team
Florine MAES
CEO
For more than 10 years, Florine has had knowledge and a broad vision in physical chemistry of polymers and soft matter, and in droplet-based microfluidics. She has a strong interest in innovative materials and technologies, in particular for biotechnological applications. After her doctorate, she joined the team of Jean-Christophe Baret in 2012 and joined as a Business Developer in January 2017 on the FluoSurf project which led to the creation of the company Emulseo in September 2018 and of which she is the CEO.
Ariane PEYRET
Microfluidics Engineer
After studying chemistry and biochemistry at the University of Bordeaux, Ariane specialized in polymer formulation during her doctoral thesis at the Laboratory of Chemistry of Organic Polymers. She has since worked as an R&D engineer and project manager in the pharmaceutical industry in the areas of controlled drug delivery and packaging for clinical tria
Loïc PICHAVANT
R&D Engineer
As a Chemical engineer, Loïc specialized in polymer chemistry during his thesis at the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne. For nearly ten years, Loïc worked on the synthesis of polymers with controlled architectures for biomedical applications (vectorization, drug delivery ...) at the Laboratoire de Chimie des Polymères Organiques (LCPO) and is co-author more than 20 publications and one patent.
Patricia GRANDINOT
Business Developer
After training in biomaterials chemistry, Patricia integrated a research laboratory at the University of Bordeaux as head of projects in the field of green chemistry for 6 years. Desiring to discover the international trade, Patricia decided to join a company specialized in the development of computer-aided design and manufacturing software in which she will finish product manager.
